Nayi Disha Skill Foundation is a non-profit organisation working to give women and young people from underserved communities a genuine path to dignity, income and independence. Our name says it all — Nayi Disha means "a new direction", and that is exactly what we work to offer every person who comes to us.
Guided by our belief "Sikhegi Nari, Badhega Desh" — when women learn, the nation grows — we began with a simple conviction: that talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. Across the villages and urban neighbourhoods we serve, we meet gifted, hard-working people held back only by circumstance. Our work is to remove those barriers, one skill, one child, one family at a time.
From free skill-training and education support to health camps, child development, sports, environment care and emergency relief, our programs touch the whole of a person's life. We don't believe in quick fixes or one-day photo opportunities; we build relationships and stay until real, measurable change takes root.
To empower women and youth from underserved communities with market-ready skills, education and support — turning confidence into income, and income into lasting independence and dignity.
A society where every woman and child — regardless of where they were born — has a fair chance to learn, earn, stay healthy and shape their own future with pride.
We serve every person with respect and kindness, never charity that shames.
We build lasting skills and confidence, not dependence.
We welcome all, regardless of religion, caste, gender or background.
We are honest, transparent and accountable with every rupee and promise.
We work with communities as partners, not just for them.
We aim for change that lasts — in lives, habits and the environment.
We run eight focused programs that together support a person's whole journey — from early childhood to a confident, earning adult. Explore each one:
